Lighting Up Lives

Project Start Date: 10 March, 2017. | Project End Date: 11 March, 2017.

Founder, Charu Mathur is associated with the award winning project of Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF) 2016 - ‘Lighting Up lives’ with the alumni team of North India along with TEA alumni Rajesh Majumdar and NGO SPECS (Society of Pollution & Environmental Conservation Scientists), Dehradun. The project focuses on advanced skill development in designing very low cost LED lights.  The workshop sessions equip trainees to build a model for use at homes and learn advanced repairing techniques. The mission is innovative in the context of its approach.  It focuses on education of efficientuse of energy but then goes many steps further to address the environmental and climatechange concerns by developing skills to repair the damaged units.
