We have initiated a project to train a group of secondary teachers who will spearhead a campaign to bring about a change in the teaching methodologies which are not only aligned to the interests, capabilities & outlook of todays’ students, but will also inculcate in them the skills that will be required of them, 10 to 20 years from now. Many of these skills but do not form a part of the curriculum today, which concentrates more on content memorization than on skill development.

The first session of the 40 hr. workshop for 20 Master Trainers will be held on Saturday, 11th October, 2014. The participants will discuss the profile of the 21st Century learners, the changing ‘Teacher – Student’ relationship and how to enthuse, motivate and inculcate the skills in children which will make them successful in life. This group of Master Trainers will form a specialized teaching community & commit to train 50 teachers from the underserved schools for at least next 2 years.
